A Glasgow nightclub has installed a two-way mirror which allows male revellers in private booths to spy on unsuspecting women as they visit the toilet! With no notification or signage anywhere in the venue many female club goers have been left feeling embarrassed and used. Although they do briefly show the mirrors in a promo video, the club has been quickly deleting comments and posts on their social media from club goers trying to alert others to the situation. This is pretty much illegal and hugley violates privacy. Thank you The Shimmy Club for giving us a shiny, new, creative and cool take on objectification.

How fucking disgusting is that. “No we can’t let women have even a single room to themselves, turn it into a fucking zoo exhibit for men to ogle at them without their knowledge.”

if you place your fingernail up to a mirror and theres no gap between you and the reflection, it’s a 2 way mirror.
basically forever going to be testing mirrors.

i went and had a lil look at the fb page and comments, big mistake. only women seem to be complaining, majority of men think ITS A LAUGH and FUCK YOU IF YOU DONT FIND IT FUNNY (basically the clubs stance on it) and then a few women who think people “need to calm down”
i’m at a loss for words.

if the women were not alerted that they’re being watched, it’s a fucking problem. it’s a problem it exists regardless but that’s ten fold. i feel insanely sick. i hate that i cant fucking fix shit like this at all. wtf can i do miles away other than getting word out which doesn’t feel like enough.
